Ada Apron Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and connecting school nutrition professionals throughout Ada County, Idaho. Our chapter brings together individuals who are passionate about serving nutritious meals to students while promoting professional growth, leadership, and lifelong friendships.
Our chapter has a long history of serving school nutrition professionals throughout our local community. Originally established in 1979 as the Meridian Food Service Chapter, it separated from the Ada County Chapter to form its own chapter, LaurAda. Over the decades, our organization has continued to evolve, and we have embraced a new identity as the Ada Apron Alliance, returning to a chapter that serves all of Ada County. The name Ada Apron Alliance reflects our commitment to collaboration, community, and the essential work our members do every day to support student nutrition.
Today, we provide educational opportunities, training credits, networking, leadership development, community service projects, and fun social events that strengthen both our profession and the relationships within it. We proudly support members at every stage of their careers and encourage excellence in school nutrition through learning, service, and advocacy.
Whether you're new to school nutrition, a seasoned professional, or retired, Ada Apron Alliance welcomes you to join us as we learn, grow, and make a difference - together.
